Raiders wide receiver Chaz Schilens has undergone arthroscopic knee surgery, according to a report Tuesday in the Contra CostaTimes. Schilens, one of the team's top wideouts, will be out indefinitely.

The injury to the knee arose from overcompensating for lingering soreness in his surgically repaired left foot. Raiders WR Chaz Schilens is out indefinitely after having his troublesome knee scoped on Tuesday.

For our fantasy football fans, scratch him off your cheat sheet and give Louis Murphy a nice bump; Schilens probably isn't going to play before midseason while also trying to get his twice-surgically repaired foot back into playing shape. It's not a major blow to the Raiders' offense because Schilens has hardly played to this point in his three-year career. Look for Murphy and DHB to receive most of the balls thrown to wide-outs this season.
