According to multiple media sources Oakland Raiders RB Mike Goodson was taken to the hospital by ambulance after a helmet-to-helmet injury. After lying on the ground for a few minutes the running back was transferred by stretcher. Reports state that he has movement in his extremities. More updates as the information unfolds.
The Raiders, in a trade with the Carolina Panthers in exchange for OT Bruce Campbell, acquired Goodson earlier this summer. Mike Goodson is currently in competition for the back up role behind Darren McFadden with Taiwan Jones.
Goodson was released following negative CT and MRI Scans. With no severe damage, Goodson will be able to return to practice and return 100% soon.
