Earlier this afternoon NFL Reporter Jason Cole broke the news that Oakland Raiders' wide receiver Louis Murphy was traded to the Panthers. The trade resulted as a conditional 7th round pick in the 2013 draft.
What's certain is the Panthers end up with a talented young wide receiver that will produce decent numbers for the next few years. Murphy’s skill set speaks for itself, however, the biggest skill he has that will help in this trade is the fact he’s had multiple coaches and quarterbacks during his young career. This will allow the young Murphy to fit into the Panthers offense with ease.
It's never easy to say goodbye to a productive player, and trust me Murphy will continue to be. While he only had a few stand out moments as a Raider, Murphy always played well. He's a team player to the fullest, and will contribute every play. Raider Nation will missed the spectacular moments Murphy provided. Raider Nation wishes the best as career continues elsewhere.
