The Oakland Raiders left minicamp filled with positive energy and great chemistry. Coach Dennis Allen said that the staff installed the majority of the playbook with a few additional wrinkles to be added in training camp. Quarterback Carson Palmer said Knapp ''fired everything at us'' so he’s staying on top of things these next few weeks to get fully up to speed by camp.

After Coach Allen saw Palmer's offseason workouts he was very pleased. "He's been an outstanding leader," Allen said. "He's taken to the new system, has a good command of what we're asking him to do. He's coaching the young guys. You couldn't ask for anything better than what we're getting out of Carson right now."

Palmer being a veteran understands what it takes to contend and now he's dedicated to learning and developing his skills in the new system. He also understands the importance of rest and rejuvenating during the next six weeks, but looks forward to July 29th when the team returns to the Napa Marriott for training camp.
