Raiders Offense Needs To Wake Up & Score in the Fourth
Not scoring in the fourth quarter is simply something the Raiders need to fix going into the game with the Minnesota Vikings. The Raiders need to overcome this flaw and begin to score in fourth. This needs to start Sunday and become natural if they want to win the AFC west title.
Raiders simply need to keep this tactic going throughout the season and into the playoffs to move into a place they have not appeared in several years the post season.
In four straight games the Raiders have struggled to score in the fourth quarter. Dating back to October 9th when the Raiders were at Houston taking on the Texans. When wide receiver Chaz Schilenscaught an 18 yard pass from quarterback Jason Campbell and kicker Sebastian Janikowski kicked a 42-yard field goal to help them come up with a win over the Texans.
Head coach Hue Jackson, said early this week “ I can’t put my finger on it” “I just know it’s something that needs to get fixed.”
Fix the problem Jackson, this league is all about winning games and leading their team to victories and closing them out in the fourth quarter especially when you already have the lead throughout the game you don’t need the opposing team to creep on you when your team isn’t producing the same results.
